Aylesham Carnivals' first ever recorded carnival was held in 1929, this was a traditional Coal Queen event. In later years it was taken over by a group of local people and our carnival as we know it now was born!

Our carnival is ran by Aylesham Carnival Association, which is a group of local people who volunteer their time to keep the spirit of carnival alive in Aylesham.
